About this course

Our PACU nursing for surgical specialties is provides participants with specific considerations beyond the routine care of post anaesthesia patients, broken down by surgical specialty. The workshop contains sessions in recovering patients after ENT surgery, head and neck, general surgery, orthopaedic, ophthalmic, upper GI & colorectal, gynae & urology and endoscopy.

Who the program is designed for

Our PACU nursing for surgical specialties course is designed with Registered Nurses in mind but is also suitable for enrolled nurses and students who wish to enhance their knowledge in the initial management patients post anaesthesia. Our PACU nursing for surgical specialties course is designed to build upon the knowledge and skills provided in our fundamentals of PACU nursing course.
